Quake Voltage

Yesterday had finished a match between Russian player Killmas and Sweden player Spart1e. And 1 hour before it was played a match  Av3k vs Spart1e. The first match didn’t surprise really, Spart1e has a better shape and better skills in  Quake 3.  Av3k has some good tactics and moves but lack of Q3 expirience.

The first map was ztn. At first minutes players were pretty equal, but av3k was making stupid moves and just giving away the frags. Spart1e had good timing and map control, amazing aim and that lead him to the victory.

The second map was hub3aeroq3. From the first minutes Sweden player took the map control and collected the items, he had better aim. But then av3k suddenly became more agressive and could collect a lot of frags, but never was in the lead. Spart1e was kind of relaxed and didn’t bother about giving some frags to his opponent, he was sure in his victory. Good game - 2:0 - Spart1e receives more points!

The first map came to be ztn3tourney1. Killmaster took the lead at the beginning and had the map control. Then Spart1e managed to take some frags and was leading till the 11th minute. Russian player was collecting frag by frag and Spart1e had to play careful at the end, but his opponent could read his moves. 15:11 - nice match.

Second map was pro-nodm9. Spart1e took the lead and again was timing really good. Russian player was going head to head with Sweden guy and even was leading till the 9th minute of the match. Then was a tie till 13th minute but several mistakes of Dark had cost him a victory. 18:15 - 1:1 in total.

The deciding map was pro-q3dm6. It was Dark who had to pick up the last map, and I don’t really know why he picked up dm6. He is good player on hub, and he definitely knows that Spart1e is very strong on dm6. May be he thought if he had beaten Cooller on Asus Autumn, he can beat the Sweden player too. As a pitty, he was mistaken. Spart1e didn’t even give a chance for Dark to do something on the map. He totally controlled the map and dominated in aim. A really must-see demo from Spart1e’s POV!
