Quake Voltage

Yesterday a match between Cypher and Krysa was played. It’s the last match of the group stage and both of the players had already qualified to the play-offs. Last game Krysa managed to win Stalq3r, but this time the opponent was much harder. Cypher continues his winning row and didn’t lose a map in the group stage!

The first map was ztn. This map is really very strong for all Russian, Belorus and Ukrainian players and a lot of them are picking ztn as their favorite. Cypher perfomed a clever game, controling the powerups and hitting rail shots. His movements were incredible, it was a relaxed game for him. He used some arcade and non standart moves and Krysa could only take some frag time to time. Belorus player dominated on the map and didn’t give a chance for his opponent. A nice demo watch.

The second map was hub3aeroq3. It is becoming more and more popular nowadays. On this map the frags from respawns play a big role. Cypher lost the first frag, but it wasn’t a problem for him. He was losing 3:0 and managed to make it a draw, when took the control and then he was overthinking his opponent and had great timing. Hub is a kind of map when some players make comebacks and can collect over 10 frags in a row, because of the respawns, but this time Krysa couldn’t do that. In fact, Cypher didn’t make big mistakes and wasn’t just giving away the frags. Krysa had to work for each frag, losing a lot of armor and health. 2:0 - let’s see what Cypher will perform in play-offs!
