National finals of Poland are taking place on NOW! The event is held in Poznan city, at the Miedzynarodowe Targi Poznanskie.8  Quake 3 players (3 were directly invited) fight for two spots for the Grand Finals in the USA and stuff prizes sponsored by MSI. It is double-elimination and bo3 system used!

Only first place is being payed for the trip and living in US, the second place has only a spot. Av3k is defending champion of ESWC last year in Quake 4, so he’s not participating on national qualifiers. The predictions are that zik is going to win the qualifiers.
