Russian promode community is going to organize a duel cup with unusual mappool. It is a nice idea to really get some fun out of tourneys, not using the standart mappool and not bothering about "who’s gonna win"!

Yesterday had finished a match between Russian player 
Killmas and Sweden player 
Spart1e. And 1 hour before it was played a match 
Av3k vs Spart1e. The first match didn’t surprise really, Spart1e has a better shape and better skills in Quake 3. Av3k has some good tactics and moves but lack of Q3 expirience.
Some predictions were written by Nukm for EDL-Q3. The predictions analize all the groups and all the matches. Of course some of them are really doubtful, like Zik vs Guard, where the last is really in good shape and just has to win the match, or 
killsen vs 
forever, where German player looks more stronger, after he managed to win the last QQC winner, one of the strongest duelers in Russia - Question / aka / Maloy. But still check them out and you can have some view of the Quake 3 scene if you had droped out from it recently or play in other Quake parts.
Today daddy is going to face a harder opponent, one of the strongest 
UT3 players recently - 
Hypno. Yesterday German player could overcome a famous dueler 
Garpy, but Hypno didn’t even lose a map to British player. Let’s see how daddy can handle some Portugal aim and tactics. The match is going to be very interesting for sure!
Another match is between Polish guy SesioN and again German player ScHiScH. Both of them lost 3 matches, but Polish player managed to win 1 set. It has to be equal play and I bet it’s 50%-50%. Stay tuned for some results!
Yesterday daddy won over Garpy in EuroCup XVII UT3 1v1. This makes an end for Garpy in this EuroCup season, let’s hope to see his better performance in summer. The final score is 2:1 and the maps were 1v1-penetrated-le, subterrane and gritt. The odds were 55% in daddy’s favor. The last map had to decide some chances to continue playing in EuroCup - 6:15 - daddy receives some more points.

Garpy meets Hypno in UT3 duel in EuroCup XVIII. Both of them won 2 of played matches and now they play for the 1st place in th group stage. Hypno is in a good shape now, and let’s hope Garpy can do something against talanted player from Portugal.
The 
ESWC qualifier in US is getting to its boiling point. There are 23 attendees and the tourney is dated from 21 of April to May 29. The qualifiers are online, so there can be a lot of spectators to this event. There are a lot of noticeable names, but also few of the Q3 stars from US didn’t show up to the qualifier - it’s Zero4, socrates, Fatal1ty and czm.
Yesterday one more match from EDL was played - it’s

Today EDL will be having two good matches:
- av3k vs Spart1e
- Spart1e vs Killmaster
The first match will be interesting to watch because it will show how prepared is Polish player for defending ESWC title in near future. Spart1e has been playing all of online tourneys recently and has a good shape, so I think it would be 2:0 in his favor. But let’s hope to some action from av3k, and we have to remember that it’s"Cooller school". It will start at 20:00.
The second match has to be more equal. Dark also has a good shape at the moment and he’s playing more defensive then av3k. Spart1e will have kind of moral advantage, because he will be playing his match vs Dark right after the duel with av3k. So he will be concentrated on the game and would have some warmed up aim from previous duels with av3k. The match will start at 21:00.
