Quake Voltage

On 15th of May - EDL held 3 matches:

1. ProZac vs Stalq3r
2. Av3k vs Killmaster
3. Killsen vs Forever

All of the matches finished with a result 2:0. The matches didn’t make big changes on players position in the brackets.

  Stalq3r [2:0]  ProZac

• pro-nodm9     [8:5]

The first map was ztn3t1. From the beginning of the match Ukrainian player dominated in everything. He managed to collect more powerups and overaimed his opponent. ProZac really didn’t know "what to do". At the end of the match he took the first frags and even made a comeback, that shocked stalq3r a bit. But still Ukrainian player managed to hold some frag distance and win the game.

The second game on pro-nodm9 started in a similar way - stalq3r collected 5 frags at the beginning and the score 5:0 didn’t change till the 10th minute of the match. When Ukrainian player lost control at 5th minute, he was just concentrated on the map and didn’t time the powerups, that’s why he had some problems at the end of the match. The score 5:0 was definitely unstable and ProZac again made a comeback collecting frag after frag. 6:4 and stalq3r had to make some efforts to take the powerups. ProZac tried to run after stalq3r but lost few frags. 2:0 - stalq3r grabs the victory.

Av3k [0:2] KillMaster

• hub3aeroq3  [8:56]
• pro-q3dm6    [2:8]

The first map was hub3aeroq3. It was seen that Killmaster is a higher in skill on this map, and when Av3k was taking 1 frag, Russian player could collect 10 out of respawns. At the half of the match Av3k just gave up and wasn’t playing seriously. 56 to 8 - the final result of the match and gg Dark.

The second game was played on pro-q3dm6. It started in a pretty equal way. But as a pitty, Av3k was unlicky in various situations and Dark was always a step ahead. Av3k had some problems with ping and may be that made him quit the match on the 5th minute (he called vote to set timelimit 5).  Killmaster goes to the next round and thanks to Av3k for entertaining us (spectators) with good performance!
