Published by Free May 10th, 2008 in Articles, Quake 3.
After
Quake 3 appeared on
ESWC, a lot of oldschool players are coming back to the big stage of cybersport. This time it’s the comeback of a well-known player
Vo0. This player won a huge number of tourneys made by CPL and the total amount of money won is about $232,000.
The news about
Vo0’s return to cybersport aren’t official yet, but the aim of such return is simple - national qualifier for
ESWC Grand Finals. At this moment, the player just made some comments and just said that he wants to have fun like in old days.
This return isn’t a surprise actually, only few days ago we heard about
ZeRo4 joining
SK-Gaming,
proZac has joined
Excello,
cha0ticz and other oldschool players are participating in national online qualifiers.

As many people know,
Vo0 had been playing different games. He received some fame out of
Q3/CPMA at the beginning, then he went to
Unreal Tournament 2004 stage and has been playing it for more than 1 year, showing up on CPL and ESWC. The Painkiller stage brought him the world name and only
Fatal1ty can make some hard times for
Vo0 in this discipline. After Painkiller, he had chosen
Quake 4, but gave up training because didn’t find the game interesting. Then came
WOW, but it’s another story to mention. Some time he played
Warsow and took the 1st place on the first ever made tourney. This player has a great potential and all his demos are very popular in Internet.
